Volunteer with Us!

BIT is powered by volunteers who make it possible for us to get thousands of pounds of food to Baltimore’s families and provide nutrition and culinary education, and art experience to our kids. 

Each volunteer session looks a little different, but typical tasks include the following: 

• keeping the Center and its Gallery open
• moving produce boxes
• filling up grocery bags
• building produce boxes 
• putting labels on bags
• volunteer for our Crochet Club
• assist with cooking classes
• preparing meals
• volunteer for special events

Online Registration is required for each volunteer.
