On the occasion of the 500 years anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s death, the Italian Cultural Center of Maryland (ICCM) in collaboration with Maryland Department of Transportation, the MDOT MAA, and the office of the First Lady Yumi Hogan is pleased to announce an exhibit to address freely the art of the genius of the Renaissance.
The exhibition pieces will include free appropriations of the works of the artist and images that ultimately reflect Leonardo ‘s legacy, that art rests on knowledge and inquiry.
Works would visualize or materially reflect on the laws of nature and/ or on the order of the universe, both natural and human-made (including but not limited to contemporary or historical events, political concepts, human emotions).
