The National Italian American Gallery aims at providing the local community the centuries-old Italian cultural tradition of inquiry and intellectual and creative freedom.
We will host exhibitions of aesthetic, social, historic and political dialogue with Italy.
A wide range of media and styles will unveil every time an unknown side of Italy: Italy through the eyes and experiences of the artists; Italy rooted in the peninsula’s current cultural developments and disappearing traditions; Italy echoed in the experiences of Italian heritage abroad.
The value of art is grounded in the Italian identity. NIAG aims at fostering public engagement, debate, cultural exchange and social awareness through visual arts. With its exhibitions and public programs, and through a wide support of institutional partnerships, NIAG aspire to create meaningful cultural experiences for a wide audience.
An audience of artists, art professionals and art lovers but also an audience made of people typically not interested in arts, but to whom the art belongs.
